Paper-I Syllabus

Paper-I is for candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V (Primary level). The syllabus for Paper-I includes:

1. **Child Development and Pedagogy:**

   - Child Development (Primary School Child)

   - Understanding Learning Process and Pedagogy

   - Concept of Inclusive Education and Understanding Children with special needs

   - Learning and Pedagogy

2. **Language I (Odia/Urdu):**

   - Comprehension

   - Pedagogy of Language Development

3. **Language II (English):**

   - Comprehension

   - Pedagogy of Language Development

4. **Mathematics:**

   - Content (Numbers, Arithmetic, Geometry, Measurement, Data Handling)

   - Pedagogical issues

5. **Environmental Studies:**

Paper-II Syllabus

Paper-II is for candidates aspiring to teach classes VI to VIII (Upper Primary level). The syllabus for Paper-II includes:

1. **Child Development and Pedagogy:**

   - Child Development (Elementary School Child)

   - Learning and Pedagogy

2. **Language I (Odia/Urdu):**

   - Comprehension

   - Pedagogy of Language Development

3. **Language II (English):**

   - Comprehension

   - Pedagogy of Language Development

4. **Mathematics and Science (For Mathematics and Science Teacher):**

   - Mathematics: Content (Number System, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Data Handling)

   - Science: Content (Food, Materials, The World of the Living, Moving Things People and Ideas, Natural Phenomena, Natural Resources)

5. **Social Studies/Social Science (For Social Studies/Social Science Teacher):**

   - Content (History, Geography, Social and Political Life)

   - Pedagogical issues

Note: Candidates who intend to teach Mathematics and Science have to appear for Mathematics and Science sections in Paper-II, while those aspiring to teach Social Studies/Social Science need to appear for the Social Studies/Social Science section.
